Best bar in inner sunset. Guinness is fire. Feels like a traditional Irish pub. Kenny- you're the man.

This has got to be one of the cutest and coziest little pubs in all of San Francisco! We popped in here when the wind really started whipping to get warmed up and didn't want to leave. First, and absolutely best of all, it is very.dog frindly! Our little baby was welcomed in and got to meet at least three other pups! The whole vibe was super casual and they had comfy couches and a real fire going in the fireplace. They had great Christmas decorations and good music and I absolutely recommend the hot buttered rum. It was delicious!! With warm service and great ambiance, this is the perfect place to spend a couple of hours relaxing or catching up with friends. I can't wait to come back here again on our next visit to the city.

A great little bar, will definitely be back. The bartender was quick and friendly, people were having a good time. I did a little drawing in the corner and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The Little Shamrock is a historic neighborhood bar nestled inside the Inner Sunset District of San Francisco across the street from Golden Gate Park. The iconic San Francisco bar first opened in the 1890s and continues to be a strong standing establishment to this day. The bar does not serve any food. I ordered an old fashioned cocktail. Which I enjoyed a lot. Service is friendly and the bartenders are chatty and make you feel welcomed. Be sure to stop by The Little Shamrock If you are ever in the sunset District and I'm looking to warm up after a day in the park.

Perfect dive bar. Bring cash. Love stopping here pre-botanical garden at Golden Gate Park for a little warm-up. I see a lot of folks ordering the Irish coffee. Maybe one day but I usually order a cider and Jameson. Favorite time to visit is a cold wet afternoon. *chefs kiss

I think either the oldest or 2nd oldest bar in SF (maybe in California?). Great bar. A true classic. I have been here a hundred times in the last 20 years. They have been open for 130 years now. Cheers to 130 more.

Thankful it's still here! Dropped by on a random midweek early evening. Same old vibe of guys bullshitting on one end of the bar, Val's seat still reserved, celebrity death pool still hanging in its usual spot. The faces in the death pool have changed since I was last in, but one of the old bartenders is still there chatting with the regulars and being attentive as usual. I miss being a regular here but it's impractical for me to maintain a presence here as I no longer work nearby or live in town. Still cash only; they still don't sell food but are cool with you bringing some in from nearby restaurants.

A great spot to warm up at after a day at Golden Gate Park, given its convenient location and cheap prices. Cash only though. But there's an atm ont he back. More seating than it looks and there's two or three dart boards in the back. There's poker cards and a few board games to choose from. Bartender was super nice and they had enough variety on tap and a full bar so we were able to get our Irish coffees and White Russians no problem. Would definitely come back :) PS there's no food served
